New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Somerset’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: Dobbies Garden World at Dobbies Garden Centre, Mendip Avenue, Shepton Mallet, Somerset; rated on March 11

• Rated 5: High Pavement at 8 Palmer Street, Frome, Somerset; rated on October 28

• Rated 4: Village Spice Restaurant at 5a Badcox, Frome, Somerset; rated on March 3

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And three ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:

• Rated 5: The Fountain Inn at Fountain Inn, 1 St Thomas Street, Wells, Somerset; rated on March 13

• Rated 5: The Manor House Inn at Manor House Inn, Ditcheat, Shepton Mallet, Somerset; rated on March 10

• Rated 4: Ale House at 78 Station Road, Taunton, Somerset; rated on March 3
