MATTHEW Darch, from Blackdown Garden Centre, near Wellington, and his father Steve Darch are going the extra mile for St Margaret’s Hospice.

They plan to walk 116 miles along the Two Moors Way from Wembury in South Devon to Lynmouth in North Devon, including Dartmoor and Exmoor.

They are starting the challenge on Monday, April 25, and plan to complete it in five days.

They are raising funds for the hospice based in Taunton in memory of Steve’s best friend Phill Evans, who died in December 2014 and spent his last few weeks being cared for by St Margaret’s staff.

Matt and Steve want to raise more than £1,000 the charity.
