THE full line-up for Uffculme’s 2024 Music and Real Ale Festival has been confirmed.
The annual festival is set to kick off at Magelake in the village on Friday, July 5.
A total of 18 ales and 13 ciders will be on offer at the event, including Alfie’s Revenge, Thirst Responder and Crazy Goat - as well as a bar selling more well-known alcoholic beverages.
On Friday evening, the Chris Ostler Band and Carnaby Street will take to the stage, the latter being described as an “exciting tribute to the hits of the shining 60s.”
Saturday promises to be action-packed, with Rock Choir, Andy Ellis, Yeo & Jorry, Tricky Situation, Adam Sweet and Ian Jennings, New Jersey Boys and Rock the Night playing from the early afternoon into midnight.
There is also set to be a range of children’s entertainment, including bouncy castles, face painting and glitter hair extensions.
Admission costs £10 for a day or £15 for both days, with under 18s and children entering free when accompanied by an adult.
Organisers said it was an event “not to be missed” and said: “Tricky Situation are welcome regulars with the four-piece band playing smooth blues and soul, perfect for a Saturday afternoon. The band features Verity Greenaway on vocals and Phil Bowler on lead guitar
“New Jersey Boys will enthral with their family show Oh What A Night which consistently sells out across the UK. Typically tickets are £20-£25 just to see them, so come along and enjoy them at a much-reduced price here plus all the other fine acts too.
“Their show features the music of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons and other top acts from the world of music. Rock The Night will see out the festival with their enticing rock, pop and party covers. A great band with an outstanding lead guitarist in Bulgarian-born Plamen Nikolov.”
