PEOPLE are being urged not to miss out on the St Margaret’s Hospice Care Colour Run which is due to take place in just over a week.

St Margaret’s is bringing back the popular running event and want to increase the numbers of runners lacing up their trainers to compete this year.

The colour run invites entrants to wear their favourite vibrant clothes and fancy dress to join in and raise money for a good cause.

The colour run promises to deliver a fun-filled day out for family and friends and there will be paint and bubble stations situated at various points throughout the route, which is approximately 4km.

A medal is presented to all who finish the run, regardless of how long it takes them to complete the course. There is also a new Bubble Toddle for the youngest of fundraisers.

Participants don’t need to be seasoned runners - people are invited to join in and take a gentle stroll knowing there is no time limit or competition involved.

Residents are being invited by the charity to join them on May 18 from 10am at Taunton Racecourse. The event is ticketed, and tickets are on sale until Wednesday, May 15.
