WELLINGTON School is ‘delighted to announce’ how a number of students have been accepted into the prestigious National Youth Theatre.

A quartet of pupils, Anouk (Year 9), Eliza (Year 12), Georgia (Year 12) and Louisa (Year 13), will follow in the footsteps of Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Colin Firth and Sir David Suchet who are also part of the theatre’s alumni.

Wellington School said in a short statement: “This is a remarkable achievement from a group of girls that have shown such skill and resilience in recent years.

“They will take part in a two week summer course which will then see them enrolled within the company, having access to professional auditions, masterclasses and workshops. We are keeping our fingers crossed for further good news.”
