The start of July means that it is nearly time for Holcombe Rogus Fete - on Saturday July 9 in the grounds of Holcombe Court.
The organiser, Michael Brooke Webb, said: “Our event is something special and rare, a real traditional delight.
“People have come to expect the usual blend that we offer: quality stalls of all sorts, ‘Jim’s Pimms’ tent and superb cream teas, and, of course, we mustn’t forget the Tiverton Town band providing the music.”
The fête offers a chance to enjoy the ambience of Holcombe Court, privately owned and rarely open to the public.
Michael added: “There will be a chance to wander in the restored gardens with lawns, fishponds; a modern Victorian rock garden, herbaceous borders and a walled formal modern vegetable garden with yew hedges and fruit.”
