A Wellington woman is appealing for residents to help her find a ring which she lost in the town centre on Tuesday morning.
Tracey Fewings believes the ring came loose from her finger at around 9 am, somewhere between Asda and Waitrose.
Tracey said the ruby ring was given to her as a birthday gift from her late mother more than 20 years ago, and contains a great deal of sentimental value.
But now it has gone missing and she is hoping someone might have come across it.
The ring is gold and contains red rubies.
If you find the ring please hand it in to the Wellington Weekly office on the High Street.
