The first event to be held at The Pop-Up Shop, Wellington, in the spring of 2017 was a wide-ranging exhibition by Claire Western, a Wellington-based artist and art teacher.
The well-supported show was held in support of The Alzheimer’s Association and raised a considerable sum.
This spring sees another such show, when Claire is joined by Tor Townsend, another well-known Somerset artist.
Claire (pictured) said: “We decided we wanted to help a charity for the homeless and have chosen Arc, Taunton Association for the homeless. Tor and I are preparing a big collection of paintings, drawings and prints, both framed and unframed and all at studio prices.
“We are delighted to be able to show our work in this lovely town centre space and hope as many people as possible will come for a browse and to support this very active and important charity.”
The show runs from Monday to Saturday, April 4-9, at the Pop-Up Shop, Fore Street, Wellington.
