ONCE again, Christian Response to Eastern Europe (cr2ee), a Devon charity, will be taking shoeboxes full of new gifts to families in Moldova, one of Europe’s poorest countries, for Christmas.

The Upper Culm Valley has supported this charity for a number of years and a collection is now taking place.

To take part simply fill a shoebox of any size with age-related gifts, wrap securely in festive paper and where relevant add sex and age of recipient and deliver to 4 South View, Hemyock,

by Sunday, November 8.

Boxes can be for a child, adult, elderly grandparent or a family – the target this year is 5,000 boxes.

Ideas for gifts can be found on the charity’s website, www.cr2ee, or from [email protected]
