TRAVELLERS have moved onto the car park at Wellington Sports Centre off Corams Land.

At least eight caravans arrived yesterday evening and were still there this afternoon (Thurs).

The sports centre if currently undergoing a £3.5 million refurbishment, leaving its car park virtually empty.

The rugby club are not affected because they took action some years ago after an incident involving travellers moving on to its Beach Grove ground, placing concrete barriers at the entrance to the field.
