TWO former students of Kingsmead School at Wiveliscombe, Olivia and Rory Lake who are now at Richard Huish College, are making quite a name for themselves at Enmore Park Golf Club.
The 16 year old twins, who hail from Bishops Lydeard, were introduced to golf by their granddad since when they have enjoyed considerable success.
Olivia, who plays off a handicap of nine, has been Enmore Park junior captain this year with her twin brother Rory, who is off 13, is vice captain. Rory won the Lynne White trophy earlier this year.
In July Olivia took part in the Ladies Club championship as the youngest player in the field, claiming her first Biddiscombe Cup win (gross) with rounds of 90 + 89 . Oliva also claimed the Gilly Burt Trophy for winning the best gross in the Junior Championships and plays for the Somerset girls golf team.
This coming year Rory will take over as Junior Captain at Enmore.
