WELLINGTON will be looking to end a run of five successive defeats when they play away to Shepton Mallet in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League tomorrow evening (Tues. 7.30).
In fact Wellington have not won a game since they beat Brixham 2-1 away in the league early in August.
They go into tomorrow’s game at Shepton in 17th spot in the Premier Division with only Saltash United, Torpoint Athletic and Welton Rovers below them.
Although it is early days Wellington boss Richard Cherry will be looking for some improvement in results after a promising start to the season. It has been tough on the side playing so many away games.
