WELLINGTON goalkeeper Jake Viney has signed on a dual registration for struggling National League side Taunton Town to strengthen their depleted squad, writes Barry Knott.
Viney will provide cover but will continue to play for the Toolstatation League outfit who have no first team match this weekend.
He is an experienced goalkeeper, having started playing for Wellington before going on to make more than 300 appearances for Bridgwater United.
He had a spell at Southern League Dorchester Town earlier this season before returning to Wellington in January.
Taunton, who have experienced money problems this season, are struggling to avoid relegation in National League South. They are third from bottom but have games in hand on teams around them.
However, their current side is no-where near as good as the one which began the season.
