WELLINGTON end a tough cricket season with an away match against promotion-chasing Golden Hill in the Bristol/Somerset division on Saturday, September 31.
Golden Hill are lying third in the division, only three points behind promotion rivals Congresbury.
Downend have already won the division. They go into their last match at home to Weston super Mare 27 points clear of Golden Hill.
Wellington’s young side are already relegated, having won only four of their 17 league fixtures in their first season in the Bristol/Somerset division.
One of three teams could be joining them - Taunton Deane, Weston or Ilminster.
