WELLINGTON Croquet Club has now completed this season’s matches in the Intermediate League, securing second place in the South West League Federation.

This is an excellent result as the team lost all three away matches but were successful with home fixtures. Possibly ‘better the lawn you know.’

Although members are no longer involved in league matches, the club has plans for several ‘friendly’ games which, judging from previous years, will be equally competitive.

The lawns at Oake are well maintained throughout the winter and hardy members continue to play when possible.
