WELLINGTON will be looking to make it three rugby wins on the bounce at the Athletic Ground this season when they play Winscombe in Regional Two South West on Saturday, October 12 (3p.m.).
Wellington have won both their home games this season but have lost heavily on their travels.
“It’s all down to availability,” said Wellington’s head coach Graham Dawe. “It’s not easy for players to commit being away for the entire day, especially when they have young families. We’re hoping to have a strong squad available for the Winscombe match.
“You can only play the cards you are dealt with. But hopefully we can keep our winning run going at home. Certainly those who have watched our two home matches will have enjoyed them. They were certainly very exciting.
”But we have to find a way of unlocking defences which we didn’t do in our last game at Okehampton."
Wellington have had a fortnight’s break since losing 29-0 away to Okehampton.
Meanwhile, prop Ollie Price, back rower Cam Venn and hooker Toby Redwood have all been back in training this week while Toby Redwood could be returning after injury.
Wellington 2nd XV have a derby match away to their Chard counterparts in Counties Three Somerset South.
