THE West Somerset Tennis League is drawing to its conclusion where it is now decided who's promoted, relegated or earns a play-off off match for promotion or avoid relegation.  Fortunately,  two of Wellington’s teams have had a successful season with Wellington A finishing  in second place so they will be having a play-off match to try to gain promotion to return to Division One. However, it is not yet known who their opponents will be but expect it to be either  Minehead A or Wiveliscombe A. On the other hand, Wellington B team have had a 100% record of wins something which needs to be celebrated.  When the team first formed, they were relegated from Division Three but have settled into good partnerships knowing  how to adapt well to different surfaces and playing styles. Wellington C put in a sterling effort in their final match against Elms C to gain six points but unfortunately it meant they were still one point behind the team above Minehead C which means they will be relegated to Division Five. "If they'd only won one more set during the season, they'd have been involved in a play-off match. Overall, it has been a satisfying season with players enjoying their tennis," said chairman Sue Rackley..
