Liam Philips won all his games to secure an 8-7 win for Pot Blacks against Mutts Nutts. In a home derby Snipers took the game to a final frame decider where Rich Maslen won to give himself a hat trick and his team an 8-7 win against Legends.
SS Squad and Mutts Nutts both have 87 points at the top of the division, but Mutts Nutts have a crucial game in hand. Snipers are still adrift at the bottom of the table.
Rows Rebels, of Yellow Division, gained their third win of the season with Gary Grensted winning all his games for the team to beat The Jets 11-4. Lee Richards and Neil Perks both took 3 from 3 giving Here for the Beer a 9-6 win against Winter Blues.
Old Blues top the division, but they have only a one point lead over Here for the Beer, both teams having played the same number of games.
League action halts this week to make way for the first round of the doubles knockouts.
