WELLINGTON Squash and Racketball Club’s 2nd team hosted Street 2nd team in a Somerset Division 2 match on Monday night.

Details (Wellington names first): David Thorne at 1 won 12-15, 15-7, 15-13, 15-7. Simon Buttars at 2 won 15-12, 15-11, 15-11. Tessa Harris at 3 won 10-15, 15-4, 15-13, 15-7. Dan Keywood at 4 won 15-10, 20-18, 7-15, 15-9. Ed Barrett at 5 lost 13-15, 12-15, 15-13, 10-15.The final match score was Wellington 16 Street 6.

This was a good result for Wellington as on paper Street were the stronger side. Next Monday the 1st team hosts Wyvern 5 and the 2nd team are away against Wyvern 4.
