JOLLY Blues’ hopes of pulling off a double in the Wellington Ladies Skittles League were dashed when they lost to Land Girls in the semi-finals of the KO Cup on Monday.

Kristy Popplestone was the top scorer for the Girls, knocking a crucial 57 in a six-pin victory over the league leaders.

Land Girls will play Split Pins after they beat Muppets by two pins with Lisa Mace scoring 52.
