DAM Busters have blown their chance of any silverware in Division A of the Blackdown Hills Skittles League after a one-pin loss against Pitch Plate Rejects.

Sam Gover hit a match-winning 16 spare on the beer hand and finished with a 74 hand.

In Division B, Brass Monkeys are one week away from lifting the trophy after hitting 400 and sealing a seven-pin win against Half Moon - thanks to Ian Chave who scored 73, including five 9s and two 14-pin spares.

Simon Conner, of Half Moon, matched Ian's 73, which included two 14s and a 15-spare.
