EX-SERVICEMEN maintained their 100 per cent record in Wellington Ex-Services Skittles League’s Chris Bullock Championship with a crucial 49-pin win over United Services.
Geoff Hamlyn knocked 55 for Ex-Servicemen who stretched their lead at the top to seven points. Scuppas moved up to second on pins difference after an eight-pin win over Foresters at the White Horse with Nigel Symonds hitting 57.
Mowers, who had a bye, slipped back to fourth place, but have a game in hand on the top three.
King Pins and WRFC were involved in the first draw of the season in the division, both scoring 372 on the upstairs alley at the Vic. Timmy Bryant scored 53 for the Pins while John Lane knocked 51 for the rugby boys.
Rob Larcombe top scored with 58 for Outsiders on the downstairs alley at the Conservative Club but it was not enough against Here 4 The Beer who won by 11 pins with Elliott Broom scoring 53 for the winners.

Reservists closed the gap to four points on unbeaten Cottage Pies in the Gerald Thorne Championship after gaining a 57-pin success on the upstairs alley at the Vic against OBA with Darren Sparks scoring 58.
Holywell Lake stayed in touch after winning by ten pins against Hot Shots with Ryan Skeels knocking 58 at the Conservative Club (downstairs).
Elliott Collett hit a splendid 60 for mid-table Home Guard 2 who were 20-pin winners away to Report Centre A at the White Hart, Bradford, while Dave Bennett scored 58 for the losers.
