OAKE Manor Golf Club have held their Autumn Mixed Greensomes Competition for the Roffey Cup and the winners were Patricia Frazer and Andrew Thompson with 45 points. Julie Cross and Darren Cornwall were second while Angela Warnes and Mike Fuller were third.
Darren Cornwall was again in the prizes by winning division 1 of the Saturday Stableford Competition with a score of 39 points, Graham McGann was second with 38 points and Neil Blackmore came third with 37 points. The overall winner with the best score of the day was Nicolas Ford who scored 42 points to win division 2, Vic Burges was second with 36 points and Nathen Sull came third with 34 points.
Daphne Priddy won the Ladies Saturday Medal Competition scoring nett 77, Clare Tough came second with nett 79 and Suzanne Reed was third also with nett 79.
Club Vice Captain Charles St George won the Monday Seniors Order of Merit Stableford Competition with 41 points, Jeff Copp was second in division 1 with 39 points and Mike Amos came third with 36 points. Peter Brighton won division 2 with 36 points, Bob Sanders came second with 32 points and Nigel Haigh was third with 31 points.
Suzanne Reed won division1 of the Ladies Tuesday Medal Competition scoring nett 78, Nancy Marshall came second with nett 81 and Alison Harman was third also with nett 81. Sandra Lawrence won division 2 with nett 76 the best score of the day, Catherine Drysdale was second with nett 79 and Jenny Swann was third with nett 80.
