WELLINGTON Pool League have held their finals night. The singles final was won by Ryan Redwood of Pot Blacks whobeat Mark Kerslake of Changing lanes.
The Micro Check shield was also played with Gary Newall of Mutts Nutts beating Ken Rixon of Legends. These matches were followed by the team knockout final. In the opening games, Snipers, unbeaten all season, went 2-1 up, but Mutts Nutts. who took top position in the premier division, won the next 7 games to take the trophy. Other trophies given out on the night included: premier division winner Mutts Nutts, runners up Pot Blacks. First division winners Snipers, runners up Two Tees. Chairman’s Cup SS Squad, runners up What’s the Story Potting Glory. Doubles winners Gary Deville & Luke Veale, runners up Fran Radford and Gaz Smith. Premier player’s ratings winner Butch Cobbett, runners up Mark Lister. First division players ratings Rob Powell, runners up Shane Deheaume. Eight ball clearances Butch Cobbett, Darren Copp, Ed Williams, Geoff Hamlyn, Jarrod Dowzell, Joel Martin, Neil Perks, Robert Powell, Ryan Redwood and Simon Heritage.
