MUTTS Nutts are champions of Red Division in the Wellington Summer Pool League after beating Snipers.

Mutts Mutts took some big points with Bob Deville, Luke Veale and Sam Cottrell winning all their games for a 12-3 win against Snipers. SS Squad, who finished runners-up, had a close match taking it to a final game decider with Paul Marks and Darren Copp taking 3 from 3 to beat Legends 8-7.

In the Yellow Division Martin Roberts and Lewis Smith knocked in hat tricks to give title-chasing Two Tees a 10-5 win against Here for the Beer. Rows Rebels took their game to a final game decider which Joey Booker won to beat Winter Blues 8-7. The Jets also enjoyed a close match but another fine hat trick from Steph Priday secured an 8-7 win against Pocket Rockets.

League tables and ratings will be updated next week when all back matches have been played.

The team cup final will take place on finals night on August 29 at The Vic between Pot Blacks and Mutts Nutts. The singles final is between Dave Darch and Ed Williams and Micro Check cup between Luke Veale and Paul Marks will also take place on the night. It will be a 7.30 start.
