WELLINGTON Croquet Club have so far played two matches at the start of the new season as a member of the South Western Croquet Federation.

In May the ‘Intermediate’ team travelled to Sidmouth but found judging the pace of the balls a challenge on the fast lawns. The result was a loss for Wellington 1-6. Recently, Wellington welcomed Taunton to Oake on a cold, damp, windy day. Playing conditions were not ideal but after a hard fought match, the result was a win for the home team 4-1.
