Jack Land, David Stark, Nick Gratton and Adam Cornish were the winning team in Oake Manor Golf Club’s Captains Drive In. They scored an excellent 89 points in the 4 Ball Bowmaker Competition, 2 scores to count on each hole. 

Second were Ian Loader, George Wagstaff, Guy Backhouse and Mark Mitchell with 84 points. Third on count back were David Rossillo, Kieran Wyatt, Jamie Biddiscombe and Ben Chinn also with 84 points. 

Jack Land had the men’s longest drive and Helen White had the ladies' longest drive. Mike Osguthorpe won the men’s nearest the pin on the 10th hole and Nancy Marshall was nearest the pin for the ladies. 

The first three players in the Men’s Sunday Stableford Competition all scored 37 points, on count back Neil Blackmore was the winner, Shaun Anthony came second and Josh Winter was third. 

On Tuesday the Ladies played a match between Pam Kinnear’s Captains Team against Liz How’s Vice Captains Team. Pam’s team won by 4.5 to 3.5.
