THERE will be an early morning inspection of the pitch at the Playing Field before the scheduled Jewson League match between Wellington and Street tomorrow afternoon (Sat, 3p.m.).

It follows another week of bad weather and rain falling throughout today, leaving the ground saturactede.

It will be a big disappointment, however, if the game is called off because Wellington have not played since they beat Nailsea & Backwell 2-0 at home at the end of last month.

Meanwhile, Wellington Reserves’ away game against struggling Lyme Regis in the Devon and Exeter League tomorrow has already been called off.
