WELLINGTON Reds, the footballing section of the local cricket club, top Division One in the West Country Drainage Services Taunton Saturday Football League after beating Bridgwater Sports 2-1 away over the weekend.

Reds, who are 100 per cent after four matches, fielded a much changed side which included five new players including ex-Western League midfielder Paul Pocock who scored along with Jack Lewis.

Meanwhile, Reds have a Somerset Junior Cup tie away to Weston Village this coming weekend.

They will be looking for revenge as it is the same side which knocked them out of the competition last season.
