IT’S ‘as you were’ on the managerial front at Wellington AFC for next season.
The club’s committee met on Sunday and voted unanimously to reappoint all of their senior bosses.
Richard Cherry will continue as first team manager, Mark Owen will again run the Reserves with Warren Toth and Matt Groves remaining in joint charge of the A team.
In the Somerset County Women’s League, John Sellick will manage the Wildcats Ladies and Nyima Touray will run Wellington Ladies.
Club chairman Mike Hall said: “We are absolutely delighted that everyone has continued to carry on.
“The appointments were confirmed on the day after we celebrated a highly successful season at our presentation evening.
“All of our sides have made great progress and have so much to build on - doing that with the same management teams in charge makes absolute sense.
“I’d like to thank them all - and their coaches and other helpers - for their fantastic work on behalf of Wellington AFC.
“We can all have a short break now but are already looking forward to next season.”
Among the club’s achievements in 2023-24, the first team retained their premier status in the Toolstation League while the Reserves and A team are both set for promotion.
