WELLINGTON have a tough away match against promoted Sidmouth Town in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League this evening (Tues).
Sidmouth won Premier East in the South West Peninsula League last season, losing only three of their 30 matches and are currently lying fifth in the Premier Division of the Jewson League.
Although lying in 18th spot, Wellington have won at Bridgwater and Street this season and were unlucky to lose 1-0 at home to second-placed Paulton Rovers on Saturday, the winning goal coming from the penalty spot in the second half.
The Wellington club’s chairman Mike Hall will again be in charge of the team following the recent departure of manager Josh Stunell.
