FORMER Court Fields School student Brooke Aspin was a member of the England team which reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Women’s Under 19 Football Championship in Lithuania earlier this week.

Brooke, just turned 19 and a defender, played in all three group matches in which England beat Portugal 1-0, Lithuania 10-0 and France 1-0. Unfortunately, in the semi-final, England lost 3-1 to Spain. 

Brooke played for Bristol City last season, having come up through the Robins Academy, and made her debut as the age of 16.

She signed for Chelsea on a permanent contract in July of last year with a loan-back clause for the 2023/24 season.
