THE Masters 3 Way Pétanque Competition took place recently at the ISCA Pétanque Club in Exeter.

This involved six teams of three players from the Devon, Kernow and Great Western regions each playing six triples matches.

The Devon team included two members of Wellington Pétanque Club - Eddie Gozna and Geoff Sully who played with Tracy Doran from Chudleigh.

Devon were narrowly defeated by Great Western, 20.5pts v 19. However, Eddie, Geoff and Tracy were the only team to win all their matches and were awarded commemorative medals.

Wellington Pétanque Club will be hosting their inaugural invitational competition in September.
