WELLINGTON 2nd XI and Middlezoy share the lead at the top of Division Three in the Somerset Cricket League following Saturday's round of matches.
Playing away to Spaxton, Wellington lost two early wickets before Ollie Hunt (21) and Nathan Yarde (67) shared in a third-wicket stand of 33 before wickets began to tumble again.
However, Rob Moysey joined Yarde and the pair put on 99 for the seventh wicket with Moysey scoring 65 off 64 balls, with six 4s.
Wellington finished on 187-9 in their 40 overs while Ben Rich was Spaxton's most successful bowler with 4-26.
Spaxton opener John Bishop scored 35 but only Adam Richards (49) managed to make an impact and the innings closed on 145.
Yarde and Neil Hendy both took three wickets while Ollie Hunt finished with figures off 2-7. Middlezoy gained a 136-run win over Taunton Deane. Middlezoy made 279-5 before bowling out the opponents for 143. Other winners in the division were Chard, Cheddar and Minehead.
