WELLINGTON will be looking to gain the first home win of the season since promotion to the Bristol/Somerset Division of the West of England Cricket League when they play Weston super Mare on Saturday (12.00).

Arron Campbell’s side have won both their away matches since moving up a division - but lost their only home game against Midsomer Norton after letting their opponents off the hook.

Wellington produced another fine performance last weekend when they won by six runs away to Keynsham. Despite their loss against Midsomer Norton, Wellington are lying joint second in the table following three matches and trail leaders Downend by 15 points.

Golden Hill also have the same number of points as Wellington.

Wellington 2nd XV, who have a 100 per cent record  at the top of Division Three in the Somerset Cricket League, play away to Street who have yet to get off the mark .

Wellington have a 19-point lead over second-placed Middlezoy, both teams having played three games. Wellington 3rd XI, who are lying fourth in Division Six West, are home to Wembdon 4th XI.
