WELLINGTON will be hoping for an improved display after their loss to Midsomer Norton when they play away to Keynsham in the Bristol/Somerset Division of the West of England Premier Cricket League on Saturday.
Wellington suffered their first defeat of the season - and their first since September, 2022 - when going down to Midsomer Norton in a low scoring game at the Playing Field on Saturday.
Having bowled out Midsomer Norton for 152, with skipper Arron Campbell and Sachindu Colombage both taking four wickets, they tumbled to 149 all out after being 109-4 at one stage.
Keynsham gained an impressive eight-wicket away victory over Clevedon last time out, with Tom Bancroft (71) and Jake Carstens (73 not out) steering them to victory.
Meanwhile Wellington 2nd XI will be looking for back to back wins when they play at home to Cheddar in Division Three of the Somerset League.
Wellington beat Spaxton by 42 runs away over the weekend, bowling out their opponents for 145 after scoring 187 in their 40 overs.
Wellington 3rd XI, who beat Weston 4th XI over the weekend, are away to Taunton Deane 4th XI on Saturday.
