CHAMPIONS Jolly Blues suffered their first loss of the new season in a back match when they went down by just two pins against Land Girls whose top scorer was Tina Coles who knocked 53.

Land Girls also beat Wanderers on Monday with Tina Coles again leading the way with 59 and are now only one point behind the early leaders Split Pins who suffered their first loss - going down by 28 pins to Muppets who are third.

Pin & Tonics gained a 19-pin win over LOA Spare with Jane Pearce hitting 43 while Water Babies were also 19-pin winners over Geronimo with Pat Hayman top scoring with 47.
