AFTER an Open Day which was a bit of a washout at Wellington Bowling Club,, it was decided to try again on Sunday - and this time it stayed fine.

Several people came along and quite a few showed an interest, and club coaches and playing members were pleased to welcome them and let them loose on the green.

A lot of members kindly helped out on the day to make tea, coffee and cakes and the bar was also open for drinks..
