ROCKWELL Green Shortmat Bowls Club held their mid summer lunch  at Rockwell Green Village hall  attended by 25 members and friends.

They sat down to a very nice meal and during lunch members tried their hand at a quiz set by Clare with Reg Deem coming out on top with 17 out of 20.

At the conclusion of lunch there were several  games for members to try their hand at - target bowls, curling, mouse through the hole, shove  halfpenny which created a lot of interest as most members remembered when it was played in public houses. Later a little of the friendly  completive rivalry  crept in on all games.
