WELLINGTON Pumas took on Ottery St Mary's Falcons in the Exeter Over 60s League and won 55-29.

Brian Wombwell, Arthur Carter and skip Bill Warnett gave their valiant opponents little chance, winning 32 – 14.

Andy Pearce, Geoff Stamp and skip Tony Gibson,too, led from the beginning and all looked lost for the Ottery trio but in the last end but one, Ottery picked up four shots to be just three shots behind 18 – 15.

The Pumas were not going to give any more shots away and just to add insult to injury took five shots in the last to pick up a very good 23 shots to 15 win.
