BILL Kingdom has won the singles competition at Rockwell Green Shortmat Bowls Club.

After a day of intense bowling the final between Bill Kingdom and Graham Hill proved to be a bit one sided with Bill proving to be the better bowler on the day and deservedly winning the event.

The play off for third place between Mike Russell and Mike Bull surprised everyone with Mike Bull outplaying his opponentl who is one of the club's better players. Mike Bull is a well known football supporter who is regularly on the ‘gate’ for Wellington AFC’s home matches.
