ELEVEN year old Wellington girl Bella Whitelaw will be linking up with the Under 13 female Great Britain team at the World Championships this October.

Bella has qualified to compete in the triathle which is a continuous shoot swim run over a set distance. The family are waiting to hear whether she’s qualified for the biathle - a continuous run and swim.

The World Championships will take place between at Port Fuad, Egypt, between October 10 and 13.  Bella is no stranger to elite competitions. In October 2022, thanks to a successful Go Fund Me, Bella was selected to represent Great Britain Under 11 girls in the World Biathle Championships where she and  her relay partner won bronze.

Bella is a former pupil of Wellington School and has lived in the town since 2016. She has recently been awarded a sports and drama scholarship at Taunton School.

Competing at such a high level means she needs financial help to cover her travel and competition fees. Every donation, no matter the size, brings her one step closer to representing Great Britain - click the link below to donate or share the link https://gofund.me/160387b8.
