Wellington A’s joint manager Warren Toth said: “We controlled most of the game - we kept the ball really well.
“It was a good team performance - possibly the best of the season. We also came through the match without any injuries which was also very safisfying.”
Meanwhile, Galmington gained a 3-0 away win over champions Redgate who are struggling this season and are one place off the bottom of the table.
Porlock, in second place, produced a fine display to beat Bridgwater Wolves 5-1 at home while North Petherton and Minehead Reserves fought out a 1-1 draw.
This coming weekend Wellington A, who won the first division title last season, are away to Stogursey who are lying eighth in the table.
