A WELLINGTON youngster has scooped first prize in a fancy dress competition hosted by Rumwell Farm Shop.
13-Month-Old Theodora Gaines, from Wellington, was declared best dressed at the award-winning farm shop’s Easter Party last weekend (Saturday 8th April).
Rumwell Farm shop, located on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington, hosted the event which included entertainment from J’s Disco, a themed tea party and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Partner at the farm shop, Anne Mitchell, said: “We invited youngsters to come and celebrate Easter in our wonderful new Rumwell Orchard extension with its magical views across our lovely apple orchard.
“Everyone had an egg-cellent time, and the children were very excited to meet our special guest, the Easter Bunny, as well as enjoy entertainment from J’s Disco, including fabulous balloon modelling, amazing magic and fun games.
“We’d like to say a huge congratulations to Theodora, for having the best costume on the day. She was dressed as an Easter Bunny. We were very impressed with everyone’s efforts and would like to say thank you to everyone for getting into the Easter spirit.”
“For anyone who missed out on this party, don’t worry we’ve lots of others coming up this year that are family-friendly, including our Halloween Children’s Party at the end of October and we’ve some very special Father Christmas events in December. Watch this space! We’ll be announcing more soon.
