A NEW workout class at Pulse Gym in West Buckland has launched offering pre- and postnatal classes.
The prenatal class focuses on gentle exercises to help maintain flexibility, fitness, and strength during the pregnancy period, while the postnatal sessions focus on re-introducing individuals to their prior prenatal fitness state, focussing on core strength and improving posture.
The classes are to be launched in May 2024 and will be led by gym instructor Steph Moreland who has first-hand experience of being a young mum. She can bring a different perspective to fitness classes and has a passion and dedication to helping other mums achieve their fitness goals by providing tailored workouts that are safe and effective during pregnancy and in the post-partum period.
Pulse Gym said in a statement: “We recognise the importance of offering comprehensive support to women during this transformative time in their lives.”
“Our pre- and postnatal classes will not only focus on physical fitness but also on building strength, flexibility, and confidence to navigate the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood.
“In addition, we would like to offer five complimentary one-month membership to your readers, allowing them to explore our diverse range of classes beyond the pre- and postnatal offerings.
“Pulse Gym caters to a wide range of fitness needs, including kids boxing classes, specialised sessions for the over the 60s, and programmes tailored for individuals who require extra support in improving their fitness, and two free places on each course.”
Courses are scheduled to start on May 1st and run over a 5-week period.
