A THERAPY session for children with neurological difficulties hosted in Wellington was said to have drawn families from “across the UK.”
Occupational therapist Amy Blake, and founder of Super Kids Therapy, recently hosted a series of six sessions over the February half term, designed to help children with neurological difficulties.
Commenting, Ms Blake said: “The intensive nature of the therapy allowed for accelerated improvements in various areas of motor development, which would have taken much longer to achieve through traditional therapy methods.
“The families particularly appreciated the warm and welcoming environment at Super Kids Therapy, making it an inclusive and supportive space for both the children and their caregivers.
“The success of this DMI therapy intensive at Super Kids Therapy highlights the importance of providing specialised and intensive intervention for children with neurological conditions. It is crucial for therapy centres to offer such programs, as they empower children to reach their maximum potential and lead fulfilling lives.
“The long-lasting impact of these interventions cannot be understated, as they enable children to overcome challenges, gain independence, and participate actively in daily activities. Super Kids Therapy in Wellington continues to offer further intensive therapy sessions to support children with neurological difficulties.
“By employing evidence-based techniques and skilled therapists, Super Kids Therapy remains at the forefront of providing holistic and quality care to children in need.”
Ms Blake said her event saw families “flock” to the sessions from across the UK, and that they proved “highly successful” in helping children reach their therapy goals.
