WELLINGTON’S £1 million library refurbishment is said to be making good progress.

Somerset Council have confirmed that works to the upper storey of the building, which is undergoing an extensive upgrade, have been completed.

Much of the scaffolding has now come down from the site, while work continues on the interior.

The library is hoped to reopen in late summer to early autumn.
