A WELLINGTON fire fighter has been recognised for two decades of good conduct with the brigade.

Andy Green, who joined the fire service in 2003, joined colleagues of 20 and 30 years service in a medal giving ceremony held to celebrate their longstanding service.

A spokesperson for Wellington Fire Station extended their congratulations and said the award was “well deserved.”
