EASTER will bring waste day changes for households in the Wellington area.

Pick-ups due on Good Friday, March 30, will take place on Saturday, March 31, while no collections on Easter Monday, April 2, mean all that week’s kerbside services are one day later, including Friday pick-ups on Saturday, April 7.

All recycling sites remain on their usual schedules, with nine sites open on Good Friday and all 16 on Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Later bank holidays in 2018 – on Monday, May 7, May 28 and August 27 – will also each mean a week of one-day-later collections, including Friday pick-ups on Saturdays, but no changes for recycling sites.
