PATIENTS and visitors to Musgrove Park Hospital are being warned ahead of a temporary closure of its main entrance.

The entrance from the A38 Wellington Road will be closed to all vehicles from 5am on Friday, May 24, until 6pm on Monday, May 27.

A spokesperson for Somerset NHS said in a short statement: “This is to allow the safe removal of a tower crane from the surgical centre construction site.

“Advanced road diversion signage will be in place. During this period all access to the hospital site will be via the Parkfield Drive entrance.”

This includes vehicle access to the Beacon Centre road and all parking in this area.
